Participation of local firms explicitly welcomed, new secondary school construction in Tegernseer Tal

Invitation to the information event for the local Craftsmen's Association of the District of Miesbach at Neureuther Hall in 83703 Gmund am Tegernsee (Lake Tegernsee). On July 25, 2012 at 8 p.m., the District of Miesbach held an information event on the PPP schools project in Miesbach. The project was presented together with the companies performing the work - SKE Facility Management GmbH and Bauunternehmung Ehrenfels GmbH. "We place great emphasis on the strong participation of regional SMEs in this construction project," explained Christian Werth, the boss of Ehrenfels, one of the companies performing the work. Via the Internet at - "Invitation to Tender" portal - interested firms can register and participate with their bids. "The fact that we organise our own invitations to tender means that we are not bound by the usual procurement rules for best value procurement in the public sector," Werth continued.



SKE Bulgaria EOOD – Member of the Bulgarian Green Building Council (BGBC)

SKE Bulgaria EOOD is pleased to announce that the Company became a member of the Bulgarian Green Building Council (BGBC). BGBC aims at a more sustainable and efficient built-up environment and is on the way of becoming the official authority in the field of sustainable construction and urban planning in Bulgaria. The Bulgaria GBC supports all efforts to foster a “lead” market”, sustainable construction, by developing a national certification system for high-performance buildings. The Bulgaria GBC Certificate is based on the German Sustainable Building Council certification system for quality and sustainability.Following the policy for Sustainable approach and in order to increase corporate sustainability resources SKE Bulgaria’s Project Manager Dipl. Ing. Sofia Kodjamanova passed the first stage and is currently preparing for the LEED Green Associate Exam.

TM Stuttgart GmbH – United States Army DPW Support Contractor of the Year 2009

On 4 June 2010 TM Stuttgart Directors Winfried Hartmann and Charles D. Houpt received this award from Garrison Commander Col. Richard M. Pastore for their Europe and world-wide DPW Support in 2009. TM Stuttgart GmbH has won this award previously in 1994, 2007 and 2008. Since 1988 they have been supporting United States European Command (EUCOM) and the Stuttgart Army Garrison performing maintenance, repairs, and renovation work to all residential buildings, office buildings, high-security buildings, outdoor facilities and road system on the Garrison installations. Customer satisfaction has always been the ultimate goal. In 2009 TM Stuttgart managed, in addition to executing a wide and demanding service package, 17,746 small work orders, 165 single contracts and 700 renovation projects.

SABER Contract awarded to SKE SSG

On 8 July, 2010, SKE Support Services GmbH (SKE SSG) was awarded one of four Simplified Acquisition of Base Engineering Reqiremnts (SABER) Firm Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contracts by the 700th Contracting Squadron, United States Air Force Europe. The total contract amount is 275 Milllion U.S. Dollars over a five year period (1 Base year and 4 Option years). Other awardees on the contract are Bilfinger Berger AG, F.K. Horn GmbH, and Mikan Generalbau. Task Order requirements will be competed among the awardees with low bid, technically acceptable proposal receiving Task Order awards. Individual Task Order work will be performed at Ramstein Air Base (AB), Spandahlem AB, Sembach AB, Einsiedlerhof Air Station, Kapaun Air Station, Landstuhl and Vogelweh Military Family Housing, Bitburg AB Annex, Oberweis and Buechal. Task Order work performed will be within the borders of Germany.
